Often called the "Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado",  th appropriately named Seven Falls has a waterfall which flows 181 feet in seven distinct turns.  For an amazing view (and exercise!) there are 224 steps that lead to trails at the top.  We found the steps to be a bit much for most of our children as they are quite open and the children were scared.

Take the mountain elevator to the Eagle's Nest which overlooks the falls and offers a spectacular view of the falls.  The kids thought it was pretty amazing to be riding on an elevator through a mountain.  Along the bottom of the falls, runs a beautiful stream full of fish (there are coin-operated feed dispensers available).   

To see the Falls at their best, visit at night when the falls are lit (certain times of year only). 

There is a snack shop and gift shop close to the Falls but the nearest restrooms are actually located at the far side of the parking lot (quite a walk).  This is apparently due to water sanitation reasons.  So, you might want to be sure to use the restrooms before leaving the parking lot.
