Visiting the United States Olympic Complex in Colorado Springs

Learn all about the complex that hosts many of America's finest Olympic level athletes as you tour the US Olympic Complex.  See some of the training facilities and hear stories about some of the famous names who have trained here.  The tour starts with a short movie, then takes you through some of the buildings.  The walking tour takes just less than an hour.  There are some steps so it is not all stroller friendly.   We found that the tour moved along quickly so the kids did not get bored on it. Throughout the visitor center there are displays of Olympic memorabilia and some art.   The garden area has a lot of fun displays and activities which kept the kids interested.  There is a gift shop with a great variety of Olympic apparel and other items.  Make sure that kids use the restrooms before leaving on the tour as the only restrooms are in the Visitor Center.
