Learning History is Fun at Four Mile Historic Park in Denver
Located on the banks of Cherry Creek is 12 acres of Denver history. Four Mile Historic Park includes
Denver's oldest standing structure and a variety of pioneer exhibits. Tour the grounds with a costumed tour guide or attend one of the special events for old fashioned family fun. Check their schedule to see when they are offering events. At different times we have been able to make butter, make crafts, cook over a campfire, get water from the well, ride in a horse-drawn wagon, pan for gold and hear wonderful Native American stories.
