Lakewood Heritage Center is a historical park that has 10 historic structures and 30,000 artifacts highlighting the culture of the early to mid 20th century in America and particularly in Colorado.  Tour the museum then walk around the park like setting to visit a beauty shop, diner, houses and a schoolhouse.  There are easy to navigate paths;  stroller friendly.  There are plenty of restrooms including some in a few of the historical buildings.  The facility offers tours and classes/ activities for children to learn more about the time period.
