Casa Bonita is a favorite restaurant for my children. They feature Americanized Mexican food (not overly spicy) including some All You Can Eat options. There are also over 30 attractions inside the restaurant, including cliff divers (yes, there's a water fall in the restaurant!), caves, an arcade and pinatas. Children's menu has three options and all meals come with unlimited sopaipillas and honey for dessert. The kids love to put up the little flag on the table to let the waiter or waitress know we need more food!
As with most restaurants there are some drawbacks to Casa Bonita. The food service is done in a cafeteria-like style. You stand in one line and place your order then continue in the line until you get to the service window where you load up a tray with silverware, drink and your food. Your party is then escorted to their table by a server. This can be a little complicated with little ones since you have to try to carry their food as well as your own. Ask for help if you need it; we have found they do not usually offer to help but will do so if asked. Be warned that on the weekend the line can be prohibitively long; try to pick a week day if possible.
