The Heritage Center tells the story of the hardships and joy of homesteaders. The Visitor Center has a log cabin (built in 1867) and many farm related exhibits. Walk around in the tall prairie grass to get a feel for how the pioneers might have seen the land. FAMILY FRIENDLY PROS- The kids loved the tall prairie grasses. They found the museum to be interesting and learned a lot. |
